3 Ways to Reflect for Your Best Year Ever | Ep. 99

As we approach the end of the year, there's something magical about the cold winter days here in Iowa – a perfect time for reflection, hot tea, and cozy blankets. In today's episode, I open up about a time, seven or eight years ago, when I was a new mom, navigating the challenges of balancing work, family, and self. Maybe you can relate – feeling exhausted, a bit lost, and unsure of how to make it all work. Back then, personal reflection wasn't a consistent practice for me. But, oh, how that changed!

Key Takeaways:

  • Journal. You don't have to write an autobiography (but you can!). You just need good questions and pen to paper. If you need prompts to guide you, check my 2024 Goal Setting Workbook! And use code PLANGOALPLAN20 to save.

  • Make a reverse vision board. Get your hands busy and make a memory board. Use photos, stickers, doodle. Jump on canva or make a pinterest board. And pay attention to the thoughts and feelings that arise as you do!

  • Make it social! Reflect with others. Host a story circle. Take a clarity walk with a friend. Process your year with others.

Closing Thoughts:

As we bid adieu to the old year, let's welcome the new one with intention and gratitude. Whether you're drawn to the quiet solace of journaling, the creative expression of crafting a memory board, or the shared wisdom of reflective dialogues, the power lies in the act of reflection itself.

So, Plan Goal Plan family, grab your favorite hot beverage, find a cozy spot, and let's reflect, reveal, and step boldly into the possibilities that await. Be well!
